JK Johnson was originally a 4-star prospect in Ohio State’s 2021 recruiting class. After hitting the transfer portal following the end of the season, it looks like he has found his next home in the SEC.
Johnson shared images and a video of himself wearing an LSU uniform during a visit to Baton Rouge. He also updated his Twitter bio to read “Ohio State (to) LSU.”
Johnson started 5 for the Buckeye defense under Jim Knowles this season. He posted 20 total tackles this season but did not have an interception during his career at Ohio State.

Coming out of DeSmet High School in Saint Louis (MO), Johnson was a 4-star cornerback and the No. 50 player nationally for the cycle. He was also rated as the No. 3 CB in the country for the 2021 recruiting class.
Best of luck to Johnson as he makes the switch to the SEC.
