Joe Burrow on potentially playing Ohio State in CFB Playoff: ‘Absolutely, I would love to do that’

No. 3 Ohio State just beat No. 11 Penn State on the road.

The win was one to remember if you’re a Buckeye fan, as Urban Meyer’s bunch went into Happy Valley during a White Out and came away with a victory after trailing by 12 midway through the fourth quarter.

The win was enormous for Ohio State, but of course, other teams are having just as much success as the Buckeyes. No. 1 Alabama is certainly one of those teams, as is No. 2 Georgia.

Another team in the SEC that is still perfect is No. 5 LSU. And who is the starting QB for the Tigers?

Former Ohio State QB Joe Burrow.

Here’s what he had to say Tuesday when asked about the potential matchup in the CFB Playoff between LSU and Ohio State:

“I mean, what do you think I’m going to say? Absolutely, I would love to do that,” Burrow said. “It would be a little weird, playing everybody, but that would be pretty fun.”

Yeah, it would be pretty fun. That’s for sure.

Burrow, a junior, transferred from Ohio State over the offseason after learning that Dwayne Haskins won the job over him. That’s understandable. Burrow wanted to play.

And Burrow has played well with the Tigers — helping lead them to a 5-0 record. As long as the two teams keep winning, there’s no question that both would land in the CFB Playoff.

Buckeye fans love Burrow. But they’d probably love facing off against him in the biggest game of them all even more.
