Joel Klatt has one name at the top of his Heisman contenders list, and that name is CJ Stroud.

On social media Monday Klatt said that there are several good contenders, but Stroud was in a class by himself. Those good contenders included the likes of Alabama’s Bryce Young, Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker, and USC’s Caleb Williams.

Stroud completed 21-of-26 of his passes for 361 yards, 6 touchdowns, and 1 interception in a 49-20 blowout win over Michigan State on Saturday. His downfield passing was particularly accurate, producing the most completions a Power 5 quarterback has thrown without an incompletion in the last 10 seasons.

Stroud also led an offensive rush attack with the Buckeyes rushing for 237 yards on the Spartans’ defense, putting up a total of 614 yards on the day.
