JT Tuimoloau signed a “purpose-driven” NIL deal with the Cohesion Foundation in Ohio.

Tuimoloau, a sophomore defensive end, inked the NIL deal with just over 1 week before the season begins. This NIL deal will ensure Tuimoloau and other players will work with foundations and provide help to the community.

The Cohesion Foundation connects Ohio State players with corporate leaders, Ohio State alumni, fans, and charities. The players will be able to work with the corporations and charities.

For Tuimoloau, he will be working with the Lindy Infante Foundation. This foundation gives children across Ohio an opportunity to play youth sports. Tuimoloau will take part in this effort to get children more involved in youth sports.

He is the Cohestion Foundation’s first “purpose-driven” athlete signed to an NIL deal. More Ohio State players could join Tuimoloau as a “purpose-driven” NIL athlete.

On the football field, Tuimoloau is also making an impact. In his freshman season, Tuimoloau played in all 13 games for the Buckeyes in 2021. He had 2.5 sacks and 17 total tackles for Ohio State. As his 2nd season in Columbus progresses, Tuimoloau will likely see more time on the field.

He will get an opportunity to play on Saturday, Sept. 3 when Ohio State welcomes Notre Dame to Columbus.
