Justin Fields is putting together a big afternoon against the San Francisco 49ers, and he scored what should have been a game-tying touchdown with an electrifying run in the 4th quarter.

Down by 7, Fields drove Chicago’s offense into the red zone to start the 4th. The drive threatened to stall out for a field goal on the 22-yard line, but the Bears decided to go for it on 4th-and-1.

The play was remarkable as Fields was instantly under pressure by the 49ers pass rush. But a hard cut and some swift moves gave Fields the open field after reversing directions.

He made a bunch of defenders miss on his way to the end zone this brilliant run:

The run puts Fields over 100 yards rushing as he now has over 100 yards on the ground and over 150 through the air. Unfortunately, Chicago missed the extra point and still trails, but Fields is looking strong against San Francisco.
