Fields floated a beautiful downfield pass to Darnell Mooney to the cheers of the fans in the stands, which Mooney caught with one hand over a defender.

This kind of play is what fans have been waiting for since Fields was drafted in last year’s draft and finally, that day has arrived. Fields didn’t play much of last season, but when he did, he did show flashes of his greatness, which only whetted the appetite of Bear fans.
His ability to run and pass the ball is why the Bears made him their No. 1 draft pick. Now, Fields has to prove that the pick wasn’t in vein.
The pressure will be on Fields to be the savior that the Bears have been seeking for years. But it is going to be hard in a division that still has the likes of Aaron Rodgers, the NFL MVP, around in Green Bay.
Outside of the Packers, the field is open and if Fields is the real deal as many have predicted, this may be finally a breakout year for him and the Chicago Bears.
