Justin Fields suffered a shoulder injury against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11. The breakout QB had to leave the field and the Bears would end up falling to the Falcons 27-24.

There were mixed reports about the severity of the injury, with Fields himself admitting he was in pain. According to Head Coach Matt Eberflus, Fields will be listed as questionable for the Week 12 matchup with the Jets. “We’ll see where it goes,” Eberflus said.

If Fields cannot play, the Bears will start veteran Trevor Siemian in his place. While the 3-8 Bears might not have much to play for, Fields missing time would be a disappointment. After a mediocre rookie season, Fields has taken the league by storm in 2022, with 1,642 passing yards and 13 TDs. On the ground, Fields has been elite with 834 rushing yards and 7 TDs.

The former Buckeye QB seemed to finally be feeling comfortable in the NFL. Be sure to check back for updates on his status.
