Justin Fields joins illustrious company with first career 1,000-yard rushing season
Justin Fields is one of the NFL’s most explosive and dynamic young playmakers. While the Chicago Bears earned their 11th loss of the season in the 25-20 home loss in Week 15 to the Philadelphia Eagles, Fields joined an elite list of playmakers.
In Week 15, the former Ohio State Buckeyes became the third-ever quarterback to rush for 1,000 yards in a single season. Fields joins Lamar Jackson (2019 and 2020) and Michael Vick (2006) as the only quarterbacks to account for 1,000 yards on the ground in a season.

Through 13 games this season, Fields has rushed for 1,000 yards and 8 touchdowns on 143 carries. He has already broken the Bears’ franchise record for rushing yards accounted for in a single season by a QB.
Justin Fields has recorded the 4th season with 1,000+ rush yards by a quarterback in NFL history.

Fields completed 14-of-21 passes for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns while rushing for 95 yards on 15 carries in the loss to the Eagles. He continues to be the brightest spot for a terrible Chicago Bears (3-11) team that is already eliminated from postseason play.
Fields has been growing into an efficient passer and a dangerous runner this season. Hopefully, Chicago finds the right pieces to supplement Fields heading into 2023.
