Justin Fields learns status for TNF matchup against Carolina
Justin Fields has missed time for the Chicago Bears this season after suffering a thumb injury against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6.
And despite some disconcerting signals from Chicago leading up to Wednesday, the franchise announced that Fields will miss Week 10’s matchup against the Carolina Panthers, which is to be played tomorrow night on Thursday Night Football.
Bears are listing QB Justin Fields as doubtful for Thursday night vs. Carolina.

Tyson Bagent will start Week 10 in Fields’ stead. The former D-II QB from Sheperd University in West Virginia has quite the story but struggled last week against the New Orleans Saints.
Fields was not having his best season as a Bear before suffering his injury. He ran into accuracy issues thanks to a slow dropback paired with an abysmal Chicago offensive line and just was not able to build back after a slow start.
We’ll see if Fields can return for Week 11 against Detroit.
