Justin Fields has looked good in limited action during his regular-season debut, and he has the first NFL touchdown of his career!

Fields did not have to wait long to see some action Sunday night. Chicago gave him a play on the opening drive of the game with that pass completed for 9 yards. Unfortunately, he was removed from the game and a penalty and Andy Dalton interception ended that drive.

Fields has since had a couple of other opportunities to make plays, and he found the end zone in the third quarter of action. It came on a quick option play with Fields running it in from 3 yards out.

Take a look:

Obviously, Fields would love to be the starter, but right now the goal is playing well in the chances he gets. He is doing that in Chicago’s season opener, going 2-for-2 for 10 yards throwing the ball, and carrying it one time for a 3-yard TD.
