Overall, the Bears are having a tough season with Fields under center. Chicago has lost four straight games and seven of their last eight. The Bears travel to face the Jets on Sunday.
It could be an opportunity for Chicago to get a rare win after New York’s dramatic fourth-quarter defeat to the Patriots. The Jets also just recently announced they are benching starting quarterback Zach Wilson.
Fields is hoping to turn around his fortunes after a great career at Ohio State. He threw for 5,701 yards and 67 touchdowns to 9 interceptions in two seasons in Columbus.
