Keon Keeley announced where he’ll spending his college career at on Monday. Keeley was targeted by a number of programs from around the country, including a few from the B1G.
Keeley ultimately picked Alabama over Ohio State, Notre Dame, Arizona State, and Florida. Keeley is a 5-star edge rusher from Tampa, Florida per the 247Sports Composite. He is the No. 1 edge rusher and No. 3 Florida prospect from the 2023 class.
The other B1G schools that were interested in Keeley were Michigan and Rutgers. Keeley comes in at 6-foot-6, 242 pounds. Keeley recently visited Ohio State in September.
“I would like to thank all the Berkeley faculty for welcoming me with open arms and giving me relationships for life! Thank you to my teammates and coaches for pushing me everyday to be better. I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Alabama.”

Ohio State has produced many great edge rushers in the past, but unfortunately it looks like Keeley won’t be joining the legacy of that position in Columbus. Keeley is the 25th commit for the Crimson Tide’s 2023 class.
