Following his game-winning drive, Kirk Herbstreit had high praise for the rookie on social media.

Not only did Stroud lead the Texans on a clutch drive, he also posted a historic performance, recording 470 passing yards, which is a record for a rookie, along with 5 touchdowns, which tied the rookie record. So far this season, Stroud has notched 2,270 passing yards and 14 touchdowns.

Stroud has proved that he was deserving of one of the top picks in the draft and it’s clear Houston’s future is bright with him at the helm.
