Kirk Herbstreit reveals Top 4 after Week 3

Kirk Herbstreit has already updated his top four teams after Week 3.

Saturday night, the ESPN college football analyst shared his top teams with the world, but his list didn’t look a whole lot different than previous weeks. But Herbstreit’s early playoff picture is pretty hard to argue considering how impressive the four teams have looked.

Herbstreit had Alabama in the top spot, followed by Georgia at No. 3 and Ohio State rounding out the top four list. All four teams were winners on Saturday and all are still undefeated with 3-0 records.

Here were the final results from those four teams on Saturday:

  1. Alabama def. Ole Miss 62-7
  2. Georgia def. Middle Tennessee 49-7
  3. Clemson def. Georgia Southern 38-7
  4. Ohio State def. No. 15 TCU 40-28

All four teams have been excellent to start the season and have looked like true playoff contenders through the first three weeks of the season.

Maybe you don’t like the top four teams on Herbie’s list, but it’s really hard to argue against any of them right now.
