Taylor came in No. 5 on the Heisman odds list, but his stock dropped because of the Wisconsin upset loss to Illinois. But Taylor is still the clear-cut top running back in the country with 957 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. He also has nearly 1,100 yards from scrimmage and four receiving scores.

The Wisconsin running back’s Heisman odds sit at plus-1900.

Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins remains a Heisman long shot, but he made the Top 8 candidates in the final spot. Dobbins has 947 rushing yards and nine total touchdowns. His odds are plus-8500.

In the Top 3, a new Heisman favorite emerged after Tagovailoa suffered a high-ankle sprain that required surgery Saturday night against Tennessee. LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is the new favorite to win college football’s most coveted individual award. Burrow holds plus-170 odds of winning the Heisman Trophy heading into Week 9.

Tagovailoa dropped to third with plus-360 odds behind Burrow and former Alabama and current Oklahoma signal caller Jalen Hurts.
