Even though the College Football Playoff hasn’t happened yet, it’s never too early to start looking at some mock NFL Drafts for the top prospects.
The latest mock comes from CBS Sports and they have Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields being picked pretty high in next year’s draft.
In the article, Josh Edwards has Fields going at No. 4 to the Atlanta Falcons. It would be a homecoming for Fields as he’s from the Atlanta area.
It also makes sense to see Fields go to the Falcons because it’s unknown how long Matt Ryan will stay there for. He has three years left on his contract but he’s also 35 so Atlanta would have an interesting decision there.
Fields had a great regular season for the Buckeyes as he had 1,521 yards passing with 15 touchdowns to five interceptions. He also had 274 yards rushing with five rushing touchdowns.
Ohio State’s CFP game against Clemson will kickoff on Jan. 1 at 8 p.m. ET.
