Lathan Ransom reveals lesson Ohio State secondary learned from The Game, team’s main focus heading into Peach Bowl

Lathan Ransom detailed the impact that the loss to Michigan in The Game had on the secondary. Ohio State was embarrassed at home 45-23 on Nov. 26.
Ransom explained at Wednesday’s presser that the main thing the Ohio State secondary learned from the loss was to simply do your job and not try to do too much. The Buckeye secondary gave up 278 yards passing to the Michigan offense that day.
Ransom also revealed that the team’s main focus is on Georgia, as it should be. The Bulldogs are not a team that should be overlooked. Georgia is averaging 284.9 yards passing each game under veteran QB Stetson Bennett.

Ohio State’s secondary definitely has a chance to redeem themselves after the disappointing showing against the Wolverines. The Buckeyes will need to be at their best to stop the defending national champions.
