Everyone watching the B1G Championship Game on Saturday night was impressed with Dwayne Haskins. That includes people that have seen just about everything.

The Ohio State quarterback threw for a career-high 499 yards and five touchdowns on Saturday night, leading the Buckeyes to a 45-24 win over Northwestern. It was the team’s second straight B1G title and was the perfect capper to a tremendous season for Haskins.

Now, Haskins will almost undoubtedly be invited to New York City for the Heisman Trophy presentation ceremony. But he’s got at least one major supporter who believes he should win the award.

After Saturday’s performance, NBA superstar LeBron James is casting his vote for the Buckeye gunsliner.

“Dwayne Haskins for #Heisman,” James wrote on Twitter after the game. The superstar is, as you know, a huge Ohio State football supporter.

After his lights out performance against Northwestern, Haskins leads the nation in passing yards (4,580) and passing touchdowns (47). He also ranks sixth in completion percentage, hitting at a 70.2 percent clip.

Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray, along with Haskins, are expected to be the top three candidates for the Heisman.
