LeBron James throws shade at Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union after Buckeyes beat down Huskers
LeBron James couldn’t resist the urge. After Ohio State piled it on Nebraska in Lincoln on Saturday night, the NBA superstar had to pile it on his friends and former teammate.
Actress Gabrielle Union and former NBA star Dwyane Wade (Union’s husband), were the celebrity guest pickers for College GameDay’s visit to Lincoln on Saturday. Union, a well-known Huskers fan, picked her team to pull off the upset and knock off the Buckeyes.

That didn’t go as planned. Instead, Ohio State posted a 48-7 win over Nebraska, cruising to a 5-0 start to the 2019 season. After the game, James — a big Ohio State fan — thought he needed to rub a little salt in the wound.
“Just wanna make sure my sister and brother [Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade] are doing ok,” James wrote on Twitter. “Can someone check on them as well for me if they are near them. #GoBucks.”

For once, Wade is probably happy to not be sharing a locker room with James after that game.
James may have plenty of celebrating to do this season. The Buckeyes have looked really good through five games and many believe they could be the best team in the country right now. Obviously, that’s not the case for Nebraska.
