Lincoln Kienholz is giving Ohio State fans a glimpse of what’s to come in Columbus.

On Saturday, Kienholz put on a show at the All-American Bowl, where he was playing for the West team. With less than three minutes to go in the third quarter of the game, Kienholz sent the ball sailing 43 yards to the end zone. Under pressure, Kienholz stepped out of the pocket and made a perfect throw to put six points on the board for West.

Kienholz, a 4-star recruit, committed to the Buckeyes in December and made it official by signing with the team on Dec. 21. The 6-foot-3 and 185-pound QB chose Ohio State over offers from 12 other schools, including Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. Kienholz was committed to Washington but flipped his commitment in favor of the Buckeyes.

A South Dakota native, Kienholz was named the Gatorade South Dakota Football Player of the Year after leading his high school team to a perfect 12-0 season. Kienholz amassed 3,422 yards and 46 touchdowns with 6 interceptions, 1,435 rushing yards and 24 rushing touchdowns during the season.
