Ohio State isn’t wasting any time with Rivalry Week preparations. The folks running the team’s Twitter account have already made the appropriate changes.
Every year, fans, players, alumni and just about every single person in Columbus replaces the letter “M” with a big, fat red “X,” showing just how much they hate “That Team Up North.” So, accordingly, the official Twitter account of Ohio State football has eliminated every single “M” from its profile.
All of them.
This is nothing new for Ohio State, as it’s something the program does every single year. In the past, head coach Urban Meyer has also eliminated the letter “M” from his profile, including his name.
Social media won’t be the stopping point, either. On campus and other spots around Columbus, every “M” will be replaced with that “X.”
Rivalry Week has arrived. Let the festivities continue.
