LOOK: Ohio State announces Players of the Game for hard-fought win over Penn State
Ohio State was pushed to the max Saturday night but found a way to take down Penn State.
Happy Valley was rocking with a prime time White Out in a game that turned into a back-and-forth affair. Trace McSorley and Dwayne Haskins battled it out all night while Ohio State’s defense stepped up late to clinch the win.

Despite giving up nearly 500 yards of offense to the Nittany Lions, the Buckeyes’ defense held Penn State scoreless on the last two possessions of the game. Those stops allowed Ohio State to take the lead and seal the win in a tough environment.
Following the big win, Ohio State Football announced Players of the Game on Sunday. WR Terry McLaurin was named the Offensive Player of the Game despite not catching a pass. His blocking proved crucial time and again in the win, proving that doing the little things matters.
Defensively, DE Chase Young received Player of the Game honors. He came up big with multiple clutch plays and made the finally stop of the game to seal the win. Still dealing with the absence of Nick Bosa, Young proved he can be a difference maker for the defense.
Punter Drue Chrisman, Justin Hilliard, McLaurin, and Jeff Okudah were named Special Teams Players of the Game.
The announcements were shared with graphics on Twitter:
