LOOK: Shelley Meyer offended by T-shirts made by Penn State fans mocking Urban Meyer
It was only a matter of time.
Considering all that has surrounded Ohio State since late July, there were bound to be fans who would take the opportunity to mock Urban Meyer. Those fans are from Penn State and it the jokes aimed at Meyer come in the form of a T-shirt.
White T-shirts that read “Urban Liar” were being sold on Ebay for Nittany Lion fans to wear to Saturday’s “white out” at Beaver Stadium. An image of the shirt made its way to Twitter, where Urban Meyer’s wife, Shelley Meyer, saw it.

She wasn’t too pleased with the shirt. She had to get her two cents in.
“This is the lowest thing I have seen from a fan base,” Shelley Meyer said on Twitter. “Doesn’t match up w(ith) what your coach said he wants for visitors. Thanks for the hospitality.”
The tweet was later deleted.
Shelley Meyer is referencing James Franklin, who said he wants Penn State fans to be loud on Saturday, but also wants his supporters to treat Ohio State fans with respect.
