LOOK: Tires used to recreate Ohio State, USC mascots for Cotton Bowl
Goodyear wanted to give Ohio State and USC a proper welcome to Dallas, as the two teams prepare to square off in the Cotton Bowl Classic on Friday.
Using 400 tires, artist Blake McFarland recreated mascots for both teams ahead of the Cotton Bowl matchup. Both figures are incredible works of art, even if Brutus Buckeye received a little more detail than the Troy Trojan.

Both No. 5 Ohio State and No. 8 USC enter the Cotton Bowl with 11-2 records, narrowly missing out on the College Football Playoff this season. The Buckeyes are tabbed as a 7.5-point favorite.
Friday’s game between the Buckeyes and Trojans is scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. ET and will air on ESPN.
