It happens every year, and yet, it’s still unbelievably impressive at what lengths Ohio State will go during Rivalry Week.
As has become custom over the last several years, supporters of Ohio State, on campus and throughout Columbus, eliminate the letter ‘M’ around the area. Campus signs, mailboxes, vehicles, store windows — anything with a letter ‘M’ has been replaced with a big, fat red ‘X.’
On Monday the official Twitter account of Ohio State football captured some images from around campus with all the red ‘Xs.’ And yes, we’re all just as impressed with the effort from the Buckeye faithful.

This is only the beginning. There are still several ‘Ms’ that need to be covered up. But by the time Michigan arrives in Columbus, that letter will be nowhere in sight.
This is just another reason why college football is so special.
