Luke Montgomery, No. 1 recruit in Ohio, top-50 overall, announces B1G commitment
Luke Montgomery is staying home. The top prospect in the state of Ohio announced his commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes on Thursday. The Findlay standout made the announcement live on the CBS Sports HQ streaming channel.

Montgomery is listed at 6-5, 270 pounds and rated 4-stars, the No. 1 Ohio recruit, No. 4 offensive tackle and No. 49 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.
Montgomery currently has 34 scholarship offers. Entering his Thursday announcement, his other finalists were Michigan, Alabama Clemson and Notre Dame. He also has offers from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, Minnesota and Nebraska.
