New Orleans Saints defensive back and former Ohio State star Marshon Lattimore is likely to miss New Orleans’ Monday Night Football matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with an abdomen injury.
Lattimore has missed most of the season for the Saints, but was showing promising signs of suiting up against Tom Brady and Co. Monday night. Instead, the Saints decided to play it safe.
I’m told Saints CB Marshon Lattimore won’t play tonight despite being limited in practice this week. Just not quite ready yet to return from an injury. #nflnetwork

The Saints have had to see increased production from former Tennessee defensive back Alontae Taylor in Lattimore’s stead, and things have gone relatively well. Still, with Brady throwing the ball to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, you want all the help you can get.
Lattimore is likely to play at some point before the end of the regular season. For now, it’s just a waiting game.
