The Saints currently aren’t out of the playoff hunt yet despite sitting at 5-9. To make the postseason, even more chaos would have to ensue over the final three games between franchises in the NFC South.
New Orleans will have to win out against the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers, while hoping both the Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers lose all three remaining games.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news on Saturday.

Lattimore, 2017 first-round pick, registered 15 tackles prior to injury. New Orleans could consider shutting down the four-time Pro Bowler if its eliminated from the NFC Playoffs following Saturday’s game.
Kickoff between the Browns and Saints will be live from FirstEnergy Stadium. The game will be broadcasted on CBS at 1 p.m. ET.
