Marvin Harrison Jr. caps opening drive of Week 11 with rare rushing TD
Marvin Harrison Jr. is the superstar wide receiver for Ohio State. However, his first touch of the game against Michigan State did not come in the passing game.
After rolling into the red zone without a reception for Harrison, the Buckeyes finally got him the ball on the ground. It went as an end around after some misdirection to TreVeyon Henderson, and the play worked to perfection.
The misdirection to Henderson froze the Spartan defense, and Gee Scott Jr. set the edge beautifully with a block on the outside. After that, Harrison found a lane and dove into the end zone for the 19-yard touchdown.
It’s the first rushing touchdown of his career:

Ohio State covered 75 yards on 8 plays to open the game against Michigan State. After some slow starts this season, the Buckeyes are swinging early, and we’ll see if they can add on quickly.
