Marvin Harrison Jr. emphasizes importance of Michigan game
Marvin Harrison Jr. knows how important it is for Ohio State to get back in the win column against Michigan in 2023.
The Wolverines have won back-to-back meetings against the Buckeyes to go along with back-to-back Big Ten East titles.
Entering this season — perhaps Harrison’s final campaign in Columbus — he says Ohio State isn’t backing down from expectations against the Wolverines this season.
“That’s the one game you have to win,” Harrison said Wednesday at Big Ten Media Days.

While Harrison has accomplished a lot in his short time at Ohio State, he hasn’t been apart of a team that has won The Game. Michigan is riding a 2-game-win streak against the Buckeyes for the first time since 1999-2000.
Last season against Michigan, Harrison played a big role. He caught 7 passes for 120 yards and 1 touchdown. It was one of 7 100-yard performances for Harrison last season.
This year will likely be Harrison’s last chance to beat the Wolverines. He’s currently projected to be a high 1st-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Ohio State will go back on the road to Ann Arbor to face the Wolverines in 2023. That game is set for Nov. 25.
