Marvin Harrison Jr. will go in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, and he’ll likely go quite early. The question is how early?

Chicago holds the No. 1 overall pick and the conversation all season for the Bears has been centered around whether to draft Caleb Williams or hold on to Justin Fields and try to make that situation work. There are those who believe the Bears need to give Fields more time and put help around him. That route could lead the Bears to Harrison.

In his debut mock draft for NFL.com, Daniel Jeremiah has the Bears selecting Williams and he has Harrison sliding down to the Arizona Cardinals with the fourth pick. Jeremiah wrote this about the selection:

This is a perfect scenario for the Cardinals, with Harrison falling right into their lap. I’ve compared the former Buckeyes star to franchise icon Larry Fitzgerald.

This past season, Harrison became the second Ohio State player ever to win the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s most outstanding receiver. He was a Heisman Trophy finalist and became the only receiver in school history to become a two-time All-American.

The 6-foot-4 Philadelphia product posted eight 100-yard games in 12 appearances on his way to a 1,211-yard, 14-touchdown season. His 18.1 yards-per-catch clip led the Big Ten.

With his football pedigree, Harrison has been on NFL teams’ radars for years, and despite enormous expectations he has consistently lived up to the moment. He had 162 yards and a touchdown in the win over Penn State. He has 118 yards and a score against Michigan.

The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine runs from Feb. 26 through March 4 in Indianapolis. The 2024 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 25.
