Marvin Harrison Jr. is having a great season for Ohio State and remains a strong candidate to be a Heisman Trophy finalist. Saturday night, he added to his body of work with a three-touchdown performance.

It was Harrison’s 6th straight game scoring a touchdown and his 3rd straight game with multiple touchdowns. However, it was his first of the season with 3 touchdowns.

After the game, Harrison was asked about which play was his favorite. He didn’t hesitate, tabbing his first-ever rushing touchdown as his favorite score from the win.

Asked why that was his favorite touchdown, Harrison said it was the first rushing score of his career and came on a play that had been called before. This time, he finally broke through.

“The rushing one,” Harrison said with a chuckle. “We’ve called that play I think 3 times in my career so far, and I came up short the other 2 times. I finally got the end zone this time and that was the first rushing touchdown of my career. So, that’s definitely a special one for me.”

Coming out of Week 11, Harrison is now up to 59 catches for 1,063 yards and 12 receiving touchdowns. He is now the first player in Ohio State history with multiple 1,000-yard seasons, and Harrison needs just 2 receiving touchdowns to tie his career-high of 14 set in 2022.
