Kyle McCord and Marvin Harrison Jr. are connecting well early on in Ohio State’s Week 2 matchup with Youngstown State.

The pair have connected on 2 touchdowns already in the first quarter, including 2 impressive throws from McCord, who is starting in his second game for the Buckeyes.

On their first drive, McCord found Harrison for a 71-yard bomb to give the Buckeyes an early lead. Then late in the first quarter, McCord connected with Harrison again, this time on a 39-yard passing touchdown.

McCord is impressing in his second start. He already has 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns, throwing an efficient 7-for-8 on the game as Ohio State leads 14-7 in the second quarter.

Ohio State is looking for a dominant win after having a relatively slow offensive start against Indiana last week. So far, the Buckeyes are on the right track.
