Marvin Harrison Jr. didn’t have a big Week 1, but last week he showed everyone why the Arizona Cardinals took him with the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

In the win against the Los Angeles Rams, Harrison had 4 catches for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. While he hasn’t put up quite those numbers yet, he has once again found the end zone in Week 3.

With the Cardinals trailing the Detroit Lions 7-0, Kyler Murray found Harrison for a 10-yard touchdown. It was a beautiful route by Harrison as he simply outran a double team that the Lions were trying to throw at the former Buckeye.

Harrison became yet another elite player to join Ohio State’s all-time first-round NFL Draft picks. Expectations are that Harrison can become an immediate go-to target for the Cardinals, and he is on his way to living up to that hype.

There were 3 receivers drafted in the top 10 of this past season’s draft, and all 3 of them found the end zone. Malik Nabers had 8 catches for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns in the New York Giants 21-15 win against the Cleveland Browns. Rome Odunze, who was drafted No. 9, had 6 catches for 115 yards and his first career touchdown.

All 3 of these guys were drafted with the expectations they would be franchise wide receivers, and they all have delivered for their team on Sunday.

Harrison still has time to continue to build on his day, as the Cardinals are trailing the Lions 13-7 midway through the 2nd quarter.
