It remains to be seen whether or not Master Teague III will be the top running back for Ohio State in 2021. Spring practice and summer camp will determine where the ball carrier lands on the Buckeyes’ depth chart. But he certainly looks prepared to carry the rushing attack this fall.
Ohio State posted a recent photo of Teague in the weight room, and everyone is talking about the running back’s physique. He’s looking stronger than ever as the Buckeyes prepare to make another run at a B1G and national title in 2021.

Teague has been Ohio State’s second-leading rusher each of the last two seasons, playing a critical role in the team’s success in 2019 and 2020. Behind J.K. Dobbins in 2019, Teague rushed for 789 yards and 4 touchdowns on 135 carries, adding 60 yards on 4 catches.
Last year, Teague was relied on a little more, taking 104 carries for 514 yards and 8 touchdowns in 7 games for the Buckeyes. He was behind Oklahoma transfer Trey Sermon, who led the team with 870 yards for the year.
Entering the 2021 season, Ohio State still has plenty of talent at the running back position, but Teague is the most experienced player of the group.
