Master Teague has landed his NFL opportunity. The former Ohio State running back did not get drafted, but he’s headed to Chicago.
Teague shared that he has signed with the Bears as an undrafted free agent.

It’s a tall task to make an NFL active roster as an undrafted free agent, but for now, Teague is teammates with Justin Fields again.

Teague, from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, was with the Buckeyes from 2018-to-2021. He played in 21 games, making 6 starts in the 2020 campaign. Over 4 seasons, he carried the ball 323 times for 1,764 yards and 17 touchdowns. This past season, he rushed 67 times for 355 yards and 4 TDs over 7 games.
Teague’s most productive years were 2019 and ’20. In 2019, he posted career-highs in carries (135) and rushing yards (789) while recording 4 touchdowns. Teague’s TD high came in the shortened 2020 season when he scored 8 times on the ground, logging 104 carries for 514 yards.
Teague graduated from OSU in August 2021. After his redshirt junior season, Teague opted to declare for the NFL Draft instead of returning for a senior season. (With the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver for 2020, Teague could have played college football in 2022 and 2023.)
