Matt Jones opened up to Eleven Warriors’ Griffin Strom on Ohio State’s matchup against Rutgers and his thoughts on first-year offensive line coach Justin Frye.

Ohio State is coming into the Week 5 matchup at home versus Rutgers as a 40.5-point favorite, according to FanDuel.

Rutgers ranks 25th in the nation in points allowed per game (17.3 points) in four games this 2022 season. The Scarlets Knights will pose a serious challenge to the rushing offenses of the Buckeyes as Rutgers ranks second in rush defense (56.5 rushing yards allowed per game).

Jones is expecting Rutgers to have a lot of tricks in store for Ohio State.

Jones has complimented coach Frye and the contributions he brings to the team. Jones says the offensive line has improved performance and the players’ technique due to the coaching of Frye.

Ohio State is set to host Rutgers this upcoming Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on BTN.
