Matt Jones was listed as a ‘game time decision’ headed into Saturday’s matchup with Michigan in The Game.

During pregame warmups on Saturday, it was reported that Jones was going through the first round of warmups with the rest of the team. If Jones is able to play, it would be a huge boost for the Buckeye offensive line.

Jones arrived to Ohio State in 2018, and redshirted his freshman year after not receiving playing time for the Buckeyes.

The OL played in eight games in 2019 as a second-year freshman, and played in eight games in 2019 as a second-year freshman. Jones was named an honorable mention all-B1G conference players after playing 427 snaps in 2021. After playing all spring with the No. 1 OL, Jones was predicted to be the starting guard for the Buckeyes this season.

The Game between OSU and Michigan kicks off at noon ET on FOX.
