May-Day: CFB fans clown Ryan Day for bizarre decision on crucial 4th down

Ryan Day took some heat on social media for an unusual play call in a crucial late-game situation against Notre Dame.

Day and the Buckeyes went with a sweep play on a 4th and less-than-1 with under 5 minutes remaining in Ohio State’s marquee matchup against No. 9 Notre Dame, needing a touchdown and well within ND territory. Obviously, the call didn’t quite work and Notre Dame took over on downs.
