Raekwon McMillan is taking his talents to South Beach.

The former Buckeye linebacker was selected No. 54 overall by the Miami Dolphins. He was the fifth Buckeye to come off the board in the 2017 NFL draft.

McMillan became a key presence in the middle of the Buckeye defense during his three years in Columbus. He was Ohio State’s leading tackler each of the last two seasons (221 total) en route to firs-team All-B1G and second-team All-American honors.

In his career, the former five-star recruit started in 26 of 40 career games. He recorded 270 career tackles, 17 tackles for loss and nine pass break-ups.

The Hinesville, Ga. native was a big reason why Ohio State was third in FBS in scoring defense in its run to the College Football Playoff.

McMillan was the fourth Buckeye defender selected in this draft alone. He also became the third Buckeye linebacker to be drafted in the last two years.
