Urban Meyer couldn't stay awake for the epic NCAA Championship ending
It was the shot seen ’round the world.
Kris Jenkins’ buzzer-beater three-pointer to knock off North Carolina in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship capped what many are calling the greatest title game ever.
Current and past B1G players, like the rest of the world, couldn’t believe the epic finish:
OMG!!!

What a way to win it all!!! Wow!!!

That's the best basketball game I've ever watched

But unfortunately, not everyone was able to witness one of the most memorable college sports moments ever.
Urban Meyer apparently couldn’t muster the strength to stay awake for the dramatic conclusion of the NCAA Tournament. He confessed to that at his spring practice press conference on Tuesday morning:
Urban Meyer fell asleep during Monday night’s NCAA Basketball Championship Game. So, yeah.

In Meyer’s defense, an 11:28 p.m. ET buzzer-beater meant that there were probably a bunch of B1G coaches asleep. In the heart of spring practice, Meyer was likely in the majority. He did say that he re-watched the ending.
Luckily for him, there’s YouTube.
