Ohio State has been a dominant football program for quite some time now.

The Buckeyes, just looking at this season, are a perfect 3-0 and have humiliated their last two opponents in Cincinnati and Indiana. In Week 1, Ohio State led 35-6 through the first three quarters before allowing a couple late scores.

The Buckeyes are great. Nobody can deny that. Miami (Ohio), however, isn’t exactly the powerhouse that Ohio State is. Again, it’s hard to deny that, even if you are a Redhawks fan.

Keeping tradition in mind, the two teams are pitted against each other for a Week 4 matchup. Miami’s coach, Chuck Martin, was asked about the upcoming game against the Buckeyes.

His initial reaction was priceless:

Remember at recess back in the day when we were kids and teams would be chosen out on the playground? We were picked based on skill, typically, and the best kids would get chosen early on in the process. Martin said that the game between his team and Ohio State is like that scenario, except the first 85 people chosen were by the Buckeyes.

Absolutely hilarious. And, his point isn’t off. If none of his student-athletes were recruited by Ohio State, it literally is as though the scarlet and gray had the first 85 picks in the playground.

Again, priceless.

Ohio State-Miami (Ohio) is set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Ohio Stadium. The game will be televised on BTN.
