Michael Hall Jr. is already getting comparisons to an NFL star. J.T. Tuimoloau and Zach Harrison compared him to Aaron Donald per Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors.
It’s still early on in his college career, but it is always a good sign when you got compared to the 2021 AP Defensive Player of the Year. Hall had 4 total and 2 solo tackles against Notre Dame. For Tuimoloau, this has been a long time coming for Hall.
“Mike’s been doing it all camp, all spring,” said Tuimoloau. “Y’all have seen it, but we’ve seen Mike do it all the time. This has been what he’s been working towards.”
Harrison stated that Hall has the speed of some of the receivers and defensive backs on the roster. If what these 2 say is true, Hall should be a force for years to come.
“He’s a special player,” said Harrison. “He’s one of those guys where you see him do stuff on the field and it’s like, not everybody can do that. He’s got explosion like wide receivers, DBs.”
Zach Harrison and J.T. Tuimoloau (with a cameo from Cameron Brown) talk about Ohio State defensive tackle Mike Hall after his breakout game vs. Notre Dame.
Tuimoloau and Brown each separately compared him to Aaron Donald.
