Michael Thomas was reportedly arrested and released in Kenner, Louisiana Friday night following an alleged altercation with a construction worker.

According to a police report obtained by ESPN’s Katherine Terrell, Thomas was arrested on misdemeanor charges of simple battery and criminal mischief. Thomas was cooperative and booked without incident around 7 p.m. Friday and was released around 10 p.m.

According to Terrell, Thomas was arrested after an alleged altercation with a man doing construction work on a house in Thomas’ neighborhood. The alleged victim claims Thomas yelled about the man parking in front of Thomas’ house while issuing verbal threats.

The individual also claims Thomas was upset that the man began taping the New Orleans Saints receiver. It is alleged Thomas threw a brick at the man’s windshield and also shoved the man and knocked the phone out of his hands.

Thomas’ arrest is the second for a former Ohio State player and current member of the Saints in the past month. Chris Olave was arrested near the end of October following suspicion of reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
