Missouri quarterback Drew Lock now understands why Dwayne Haskins loved throwing the ball Terry McLaurin’s direction this season.

Senior Bowl practice started on Tuesday and Lock and McLaurin teamed up on a few routes. The quarterback-receiver combination were turning some head on some of those connections.

Here are a few passes from Lock that McLaurin was able to haul in on Tuesday:

After getting some reps in with McLaurin, Lock was extremely impressed. Now he knows why Haskins targeted the senior so frequently.

“I know why Haskins likes throwing to that guy,” Lock said, according to Tony Gerdeman of The Ozone.

McLaurin was Ohio State’s third-leading receiver in 2018, totaling 35 catches for 701 yards and 11 touchdowns. He had two 100-yard receiving games, totaling 121 yards against Oregon State and 118 yards against Maryland.

If practice is any indication, Lock and McLaurin might be a fun combination to watch during Saturday’s Senior Bowl.
