Miyan Williams reacts to record-tying performance for Ohio State
Miyan Williams entered Saturday’s day against Rutgers with 3 touchdowns on the 2022 season. When the final whistle eventually came, he had more than doubled that total.
By the time Williams finished up the game, he had carried the ball 21 times for 189 rushing yards. He also tied Ohio State’s single-game record for rushing touchdowns with 5 on the afternoon.

Only two other Buckeyes – Pete Johnson and Keith Byars – have hit that mark. The most recent instance came in the 1980s.
After the game, Williams was asked about joining those two in Ohio State’s record books. He called the outing “a blessing” and labeled the two former Buckeyes as “legends.”
Williams went on to say he never thought he’d put up a game like this one during his time at Ohio State:
