Miyan Williams shines in methodical TD drive for Ohio State
Miyan Williams is active for Ohio State after missing Week 7, and fans are undoubtedly loving his first-half performance against Penn State. He has been leaned on at times, including the most recent touchdown drive for the Buckeyes.
He delivered some big runs and produced a total of 29 yards against the Nittany Lion defense. The drive ultimately swung on a major penalty against Penn State and some key throws by Kyle McCord, but Williams set the table and finished things off.
Williams carried the ball from 2 yards out, sustaining contact and churning forward before diving for the goal line. He broke the line and the 3-all deadlock to give Ohio State a 10-3 lead.

With less than 6 minutes to go in the first half, Williams has 50 yards and the touchdown on 12 carries. With TreVeyon Henderson unable to go in Week 8, it has been Williams in the lead role with Chip Trayanum and Xavier Johnson also filling in.
We’ll see what Williams has in him as the Buckeyes look to keep things rolling.
