Thayer Munford is staying local after all.
The four-star offensive lineman announced on National Signing Day that he’ll join Ohio State’s loaded 2017 class:

Munford is ranked No. 28 among offensive tackles and No. 280 overall in the 2017 class. The Massillon, Ohio recruit went with the Buckeyes instead of the likes of Pitt, Kentucky and others.
A late add to OSU’s class, the Buckeyes were late to pursue Munford. After Buckeye assistants Kevin Wilson and Greg Studrawa visited Munford, he took an official visit to Columbus 11 days before Signing Day.
Ohio State now has 19 players rated four-stars or better, three of which are offensive linemen. The Buckeyes currently sit at No. 2 in the 247sports class rankings.
