Nation’s top ATH for 2021 class has Ohio State on list of finalists

The No. 1 ranked athlete in the 2021 recruiting class, Emeka Egbuka, released his Top 10 choices of schools on Wednesday evening, and Buckeyes fans should love his list.
Ohio State made his Top 10 along with Washington, USC, Oregon, Stanford, Oklahoma, Alabama, Notre Dame, Clemson, and LSU. The top 2021 athlete made his Top 10 list public via Twitter on Wednesday evening.

In addition to being the No. 1 athlete, Egbuka is the ninth-best ranked player and No. 2 recruit in the state of Washington in the 2021 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Standing at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, Egbuka attends Steilacoom High School in Steilacoom, WA.

Landing Egbuka would be a huge recruiting win for the Buckeyes, who are fourth in recruiting for the 2021 class according to 247Sports. Ohio State already has five commits in the class, all of which are rated at least 4-star prospects.
