New Orleans Saints cut J.T. Barrett to finalize 53-man roster, makes practice squad
J.T. Barrett was beyond phenomenal at Ohio State.
Buckeyes fans love him, and for good reason. Look up Barrett’s name in the Ohio State record books and you’re bound to find him more than just once or twice.
If Barrett were to become a starting QB in the NFL, he would have an enormous fan base behind him — aside from that particular NFL squad — that’s for sure. But, his opportunity may have to wait.
On Saturday, the day of Ohio State’s 2018 season opener, news broke that Barrett had been cut by the New Orleans Saints.
